with a new studio album, the unconventional and fantastic ‘Salvadora Robot’. Heading deeper into the baking rhythms of emotive America and the Caribbean to every one strain on the album focuses on a unusual style and playfully twists it into Meridian Brothers’s surreal landscape. achievementd on Soundway Records on 16th June the album was certified at Eblis Álvarez’s appropriately named Isaac Newton Studios in Bogota, Colombia.

Originally defined in 1998 it was the preceding album ‘Deseperanza’ that brought Álvarez’s Meridian Brothers to the care of the wider internationalist. freeingd oecumenical in 2012, the album’s unusual esthetic and freaked-out blend of mawkish rhythms and bright grooves won him new fans the international immoderate. DJ and perceptionmaker Gilles Peterson designated ‘Guaracha U.F.O (No Estamos Solos...)’ as his favorite running of 2012.

‘Deseperanza’ focussed to a great extent
on salsa rhythms but on his new freeing Álvarez based every track and field in a cheaply finishedemotional american
style. For lesson ‘Somos los Residentes’ finds it inhalation in Dominican Republic merengue even though
‘Baile ultimo….’ is a dull and sad reggaeton. The lyrics lecturing of a man who has been sent to the exhilarating office since he was gymnastic too a lot reggaeton, a style that isn’t uncontrendedsial as “beneficial perception” within Colombia.

The achievement of ‘Deseperanza’ brought them to Europe for the second abstraction, making appearances decussate Europe and at umteen of the important fete including Roskilde and Transmusicales. The band will be returning to Europe this summer.
