IT Support and Office 365 The Pros and Cons

Deciding on new systems for your business and want the IT support perspective?
Here's our take on Office 365.

With Office 365, you don't need an onsite exchange server.
This is because MIcrosoft stroes all your emails in the cloud.
Exchange servers consume a lots of time for the IT staff and resources from a hardware point of view.
Office 365 Microsoft removes that burden.
Every employee that you purchase an Office 365 license for can download the full Office suite at home,
further enabling remote working.

With Office 365, your precious emails are now being stored by Microsoft in the cloud rather than on your Exchange server. Which means you have less control to the physical storage of data and data security.
If something goes wrong, you IT support team will have to go through a third party, i.e. Microsoft, to fix it.
This adds considerable delay to any fix, which can lead to financial loss.

Always there are advantages and disadvantages when deciding to change your IT provision.
However, it is always worth examining the issue from an IT support point of view and thinking about your users.
