On today's Football Weekly, AC Jimbo welcome Jacob Steinberg, Alan Smith and Philippe Auclair to the fold to look back on a wild weekend in the Premier League.

We start at Upton Park where José Mourinho's further goaded his employers to sack him after he and his assistant got sent off and his side went down 2-1 to high-flying West Ham. Will they bounce back against Stoke in the League Cup this midweek - or will Mou's meltsdown continue apace?

Elsewhere, the Manchester derby ended all square, but Sunderland did what they always do and beat Newcastle. That result and Aston Villa's eighth defeat in 9 games meant the Villains sink to the foot of the table, and that mean Tim Sherwood was given his marching orders after 254 days in charge.

Speaking of the Midlands, there are literally not many tickets remaining for our live show in Birmingham in November, and more than 200 have been sold for Football Weekly Live in London in December, featuring Barney Ronay.

And finally, if you're the sort of person who fancies soaking in a hot bath surrounded by scented candles and sipping on a glass of wine whilst reading a book about podcasting - Producer Ben's book Podcast Master is available to download on Kindle, Android and iPad.
