Meet a young man, a young Afro-Latino man, who confidently says "I am a revolutionary". A young man who is not afraid to say why he has chosen the identity, but who has nonetheless chosen anonymity.
I asked him: what do you want to be called? After a moment of thought, he said "Kelly Canela" then went on to spit out "facts" about his persona. It was the first time I've seen a revolutionary speak up close. It was the first time I saw the passion with the movement of the hands, shifting of the body, and the fire everyone always speaks of, in someone's eyes. I heard it in the different pitches and pace of his voice. Here's the chance for you to hear it too. Meet Kelly Canela, 19, a student at the University of Iowa and...a revolutionary.
