14 Feb, 2016, Valentine's Day Secial

Yesterday was Saraswati puja in Bengal. And it is regarded as the unofficial Valentine's day for bengalee school and college goers. That special feeling waning in the mind when at 8 o'clock in the morning you go to school and see your everyday friend of frock & skirt has worn a Sari, put a red Bindi on the forehead, put Kajol on eyes and cannot look at you straight in shyness. It is a feeling of lifetime. Valentine's day is such a day, when guardians will allow children for a day out (in those days no mobile phone with the girl) and have a smile on their lips.

This originally bengali song glorifies the triumph of love. The bengali song is coming today itself from an amazing maestro, it is a surprise, please wait for that. And so I am not giving the original reference of the bengali song.

Hindi Lyrics:

Muhabbat bina aur hai hi kya?
--- What else is there but love?
Muhabbat ek rup swas jism ki,
---- Love is one type of breath of the body
iss swas bina insan kabhi jiye kya?
---- Without breath can anybody survive?

kisi bhi tarah mujhe muhabbat chahiye
---- Anyhow I need to get love
uska ek chota kan tumhare paas hai kya?
---- Do you have a small particle of that?
heere ka haar jise ekbar mil jaye
---- It is a diamond necklace. If some one gets it
tute kanch ka haar kabhi wo dil se chahhe kya?
---- does he ever ask for a glass made necklace from mind?

samjha nahi uski chhal, kya uska kaushal
---- Don't understand its(love's) tricks & techniques
jise mil jaye, wo dosh-gun dikhta hai kya?
---- Whoever gets it, does s/he think about pros & cons?
dard ka sukh jise ek bar mil jay,
---- Whoever understands the happiness of pain,
koi naya sukh kabhi wo dl se chahhe kya?
---- does s/he ask for a new happiness?
