Seattle's @kidsimpledubs caught our ears in the travail procedure for the 2013 Red Bull Music Academy with his complex, liberated-graceful layering of melancholic total textures. With a sonic vision already to the full settled primordial on in his life history, the producer continues to add to his template on his new freeing for @hush-hush-records.
The Silo Tear EP is arguably Kid Smpl's virtually palpable deed yet. Apparent on the title track and field, which we are content to prime, the producer weaves in added disagreeable rhythmical and textural elements than what we've heard from him thusly far. Washes of noise add to the hammy arousal introduced by somber synths and sorrowful loud-voiced samples, draft connections to the lavation of Burial sportsmanlike as they to do that of cognate NYC Academy grad Evian Christ. Do yourself a favour and listen to this now.
Silo Tear is out on May 5th via Hush Hush.
