We started our second semester for SY 2014-2015 with a Yolanda special wherein we talked about a spectrum of socio-economic, political and environmental issues that hound the victims of Supertyphoon Yolanda (Haiyan) and other past calamities, such as the quality of government's response and assistance, the newly-approved reconstruction and rehabilitation plan, the "no-build zones", global warming and climate change, and many more.

We also had Mr. Joneil Perfecio of the Rural Missionaries in the Philippines (RMP)-Cebu as our guest to talk about the situation and their experiences in Northern Cebu, one of the areas also badly hit by Typhoon Yolanda but is not much highlighted by the mainstream media.

Commentators: Kristian Jacob Abad Lora
Kristine Joy Argallon

Guest: Joneil Perfecio, of the Rural Missionaries in the Philippines (RMP)-Cebu
