Every week, the Norfolk Storytelling Project consults their local news correspondent, Simon Richard Tate in a segment called Simon Dictate. In this episode, we asked Simon if he’s ever felt blue...specifically, in the land of green and yellow. That’s a reference to the upcoming derby between Norwich City and Ipswich Town. It was sparked by this article in the Eastern Daily Press by Rebecca Murphy: http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/it_isn_t_easy_being_blue_in_the_land_of_green_and_yellow_1_3972821

Then, in honour of an upcoming play set to take the stage in Great Yarmouth called “The Honey Bee.” Apparently it’s really, really good. It’s about a reclusive beekeeper who befriends a reclusive weed smoker, though the play is a lot more powerful than it sounds. We asked Simon if any of his friendships have ever come from eating honey.
