In other news, the news in Norwich is often known to get dramatic…and sometimes down right criminal. In this Dramatic News, let’s take a look at some of the most bizarre crimes committed in Norwich this week.

Thieves have stolen a lawnmower from a garden in Thetford!

The red Murray petrol mower was taken from an address in Sturdee Close between 9.30pm on Friday October 10 and 9am on October 12.

“How can I mow my lawn now?” said the owner of the lawn mower, Rebecca Grayhound “Seriously. Like, what do you expect me to do? Use my teeth? Hire a goat? They’d steal that, too.”

The mower was stolen along with some items of scrap metal from the back garden.

“I was just borrowing it,” said Larry Tortoise-Smith, who stole the lawn mower and is currently being pursued by police. “I mean, maybe we can work out a system in the future where Rebecca mows it in the beginning, and I mow it in the end? I have a lady friend coming over later this afternoon, and she doesn’t tolerate any sort of lawn beards, if you know what I mean. So I figured I’d mow it and give it back.”

If you’ve seen Larry Tortoise-Smith, please get in touch. If you have a lawn mower to help David Filbert out, we’d love to hear from you….except not really because none of this is real. Bye!
