A leading rights group has accused Nigerian security forces of killing at least 150 Biafran protesters. In a report released on Thursday, Amnesty International said the military fired live ammunition to disperse protesters between August 2015 and August this year. Biafran separatist groups want independence for the southeast of Nigeria - the first republic of Biafra was declared by a Nigerian military officer before the start of a three-year civil war.
