A rare opposition protest in the Gambia ended in heartbreak on April 14 when armed security forces clamped down on the protesters who were calling for electoral reforms ahead of this year’s polls. The organizer of the protest and key opposition activist, Solo Sandeng, died in custody as a result of alleged torture in jail. His daughter, Fatimata Sandeng is today’s studio guest, hosted by Sheriff Bojang Jr.
