Radhai Manathil cover version by Maya Patmaa, Latha Suresh & Latha Rajkumar

Feeling excited to upload this fast number tough song sung originally by 3 leading singers of south india Sangeetha, Sujatha and Chitra from the Movie Snehidiye Tamil thriller film directed by Priyadarshan and wonderful music composition done by Vidyasagar .

Description of the song/movie plot. (taken from web)

Vani Subramaniyam (Jyothika), her best friend Radhika (Sharbani Mukherjee) and their friends(Deepika Padukone) are pranksters in a ladies' college. Like other college girls, they sing songs, break rules and wreak havoc. They also have a grudge against Gita (Ishita Arun), another girl from the college.

Lakshmi, Radhika's aunt, wants her niece to get married. To escape, Vani and Radhika fake a boyfriend whose name is Ramesh. However, this fantasy takes on a whole new meaning when a person named Ramesh calls and sends Radhika letters claiming to be her boyfriend. To end this nuisance, Vani and Radhika invite Ramesh to the hostel during the college dance program. Vani instructs Radhika to bring a gun for their safety.

Mysteriously, without them shooting him, Ramesh (Major Ravi) dies. At the same time, Radhika loses her chain. Suspicion eventually falls on the two friends. Gayathri (Tabu) is a man-hating police officer, and is put on the case. To make matters worse, Gita suddenly disappears. Vani and Radhika find themselves as fugitives, running from the law in a bid to prove their innocence. Meanwhile, the real killer is still on the loose.
Incidently this is Deepika Padukone's first movie in tamil. Snegithiye's cast members are Jyothika Saravanan, Tabu, Shweta Menon, Deepika Padukone, Sharbani Mukherjee, Major Ravi and Ishita Arun.

I would personally thank Maya Patmaa and Latha Rajkumar who agreed to sing the portions of Sujatha and chitra. Maya covered Chitra’s portion, Latha Rajkumar covered Sujatha’s portion, and I covered Sangeetha’s portion. The highlight of the song is the chorus part which is done by all of us. They both have sung so beautifully and wonderful mixing done by Mr.Chandrashekar who added flavour to our voices as usual.

I would say we had to go through a long struggle for two months to get this output as a team.

Though I started the project, without Maya Patmaa’s efforts this would not have been possible. My sincere thanks to Maya patmaa, Latha Rajkumar and Chandrashekar.

Please sit back and enjoy the music and post your honest comments.

Thanks n best regards
latha suresh
