How to Podcast with YourListen Hosting

YourListen is a fantastic place to host your podcast! There are many ways to do it using our free and paid resources.

Podcasting is becoming ever more popular again. It seemed like it was going to fall by the wayside, but has regained strength. This is great! It allows anyone to create interesting content that can be shared with the world.

Let’s see exactly how to podcast using YourListen as your backbone.

  1. Create your content

Of course, the first step is creating content that will pull in listeners and keep them glued to the audio player. Throw in some theme music and an awesome cover. You’re ready to go!

2. Create an account at

If you already have an account, then click the “Log In” button at the top right side of the screen to access your account.

If you don’t have an account, you’ll find the “Sign Up” link in the same place. Click there and follow the instructions.

3. Upload your podcast

You can see the “Upload” button is snuggled in next to the sign-up link. You can upload your podcast straight from there or go to your account page. There is a similar link there.

4. Get your RSS link

You will need the RSS URL when you register your podcast with Apple iTunes and any of the other podcast listing services. There are many services where you can submit your podcast for listing. These include places like Google Play Music, Stitcher, and Overcast.

You can always share your podcasts individually for free. However, to get an RSS URL, you will need a premium account. Here’s where you can get enable your RSS link on your YourListen page.

Click on the “Account Settings” tab on the left of the screen as seen below.

Then find the line to Enable RSS and click edit. The options in this picture will appear. Click the radio button for “On” and hit “Change”. Now you are good to go!

Your RSS URL will be

You can see this URL on your homepage. To enable the link on your homepage, you’ll see this button on the top right hand corner of your profile page. When you enable this, there will be a button like the one in the next photo.

Take this URL to iTunes and all the other podcast listing services you can think of!
