I was born on March 1956 in Kansas, a state where education for a Negro was lime in a light thin rope. My parent passed away during the American Civil war that took place in 1974.
Left in the tender care of a grandmother, I enrolled at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial School in early 1979. I learnt here for my whole elementary, junior schooling. I was sharp and very intelligent pupil.
Later, I was transferred to Regan Junior School in 1974 in Georgia and 1999, I joined Martin Luther King Memorial School for my high school education. In this school, I got an opportunity to be sponsored by Oprah Foundation. The foundation took care of my education until university level.
At the university, I did mass communication and from this I got an opportunity to be part of the Oprah Live Talk Show in Kansas.
