The first episode with the show's new host, Luke. There's a few bumps on the way but overall I thought we did ok. There's music from Canada, Australia, and Scotland for you on #82.
To kick things off we take a listen to Saskatchewan's finest -The Sheepdogs. A really cool sounding band who have a distinct Southern Rock kinda groove going on (amongst others). Their last album was produced by Patrick Carney from The Black Keys & they were the first unsigned band to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone. Or so it goes.
Next, Kingswood, from Melbourne and their Jack White connection. I really liked their album 'Microscopic Wars', it'sd well worth a listen.
Closing the show were Edinburgh's 'Idlewild' and one of their earlier songs 'American English' (not a song about Korean recruiters/employers...)
Enjoy the show!
