Out natural self centered focus tends to cause us to value getting mercy more than giving it. However, receiving mercy and giving mercy should be equally important to us. Attitude is our mindset, attitude, self esteem, self-worth, and world view, are all terms that relate to what we think about ourselves. How you think about yourself determines whether or not you appreciate mercy and whether or not you are merciful. If you understand you are saved because of mercy, you will be merciful. If you think you merit salvation, then you will not be merciful. Today we are going to focus on where mercy comes from and what practicing it should look like in our lives.
