I started playing the synthesizer in the 1970's when I was a teenager. When I was a teenager I enjoyed listening to record albums by Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman. Later I became a fan of Devo and the German band Amon Duul 2. In the 1980's, I was a big fan of new wave music, including Devo and Lene Lovich. I listen to all kinds of music, including techno, classic rock, heavy metal, etc. Most recently I've been listening to music by a band called Ozric Tentacles. I still play synthesizers, and I also produce music videos. I have uploaded some of my music videos to a website called veoh.com, and also to zippcast.com and dailymotion.com.

I have a website called ratkov.com and it has recordings of my music on it, it also has my artwork on it. Ratkov.com has links to some of my music videos on it, look for the links page on ratkov.com. Recently I have started a new website called JONI, which stands for Journal of New Ideas.
