Well dunk your Hobnobs and butter your crumpets, it’s time for the most British episode of the Lambcast ever.

It’s Movie of the Month time again, and this month we’re looking at the original 1973 version of The Wicker Man, the one without Nicolas Cage in it, instead starring Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee. IMDb may describe it as a Horror/Musical/Mystery, but what did we all think?

Jay Cluitt was joined by The Wicker Man‘s champion Tony Cogan as well as Will Slater and sort-of-newcomer Rebecca Sharp to discuss the film’s filthy soundtrack, religious insanities and overall legacy on the cinematic landscape.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a couple of games of Last Lamb Standing.
