Malayalam movie : Nazhikakkallu (1970)
Music : Kanu Ghosh
Lyrics : Sreekumaran Thampi
Singer : P Jayachandran
Cover : Krishnadas P

Though this song was very familiar to me, now only I am noting its composer’s name – Kanu Ghosh. I think this is the only one Malayalam movie for which he has given music.
The hero is going behind the heroine, teasing her by imitating her walking style, singing this song. The heroine is responding with angry dialogues
M : On your feet, is dancing my network of dreams
F : People should have at least a little bit of shame
M : On your feet, is dancing my network of dreams
You are a flower garden, Honey flower buds fought, Eyes danced
F : Chey.. Why don’t you keep quiet
M : On your feet, is dancing my network of dreams…

M : Are you becoming tired, Are you becoming pale,
Due to shyness, you are withering
Don’t be tired, don’t be pale,
You star, who gave (me) the sweet pain
F : I will show you
M : On your feet, is dancing my network of dreams…
M : You are Damayanthi*, I am Nala*
You are Devayani*, I am your Kacha*
Will you come, Will you give,
The rose that is given by the tender youth
F : I will never talk to you
M : On your feet, is dancing my network of dreams…

*Note : Nala & Damayanthi and Kacha & Devayani are romantic character pairs from the Indian epic Mahabharatha
