This morning, we look through her kitchen window, the one she can't get clean, cobwebs massed between sash and pane. The sky is blue-gold, almost the color of home. Ana, I say, each winter I get more lonely. Both of us would like the sun to linger as that round fruit in June, but Ana says it's better to forget what you used to know... Page Date - 15 May 2017, 13:06 Instructions for Taekwondo Palgwe Form 6 (Yuk Jang) Here are written and video instructions for Taekwondo Palgwe Form 6 (Yuk Jang). This form is also known as Yook Jang. Step-by-step written instructions for this form are on the bottom of the page. Palgwe color belt forms are not part of the official curriculum for WTF or ITF Taekwondo schools. Taekwondo Palgwe forms were used before the WTF (World Taekwondo Federation) switched to Taegeuk forms. Nevertheless, Palgwe is still used at many Taekwondo schools. However, please be aware that while Palgwe forms have similar names to the color belt WTF Taegeuk forms (i.e. Sam Jang), they are completely different forms/patterns. Check with your Taekwondo instructor to see if your school uses Palgwe or Taegeuk forms. For additional instruction on other Palgwe forms, please visit the main Palgwe Taekwondo Forms page. Do you want it back? When the cold comes on this fast, it's Iowa again— where pollen disperses evenly on the dented Fords, where white houses sag by the town's corn silos, where people in the houses sicken on corn dust. Auctions sell entire farms. It's not the auctions that's upsetting but what they sell, the ragged towel or the armless doll, for a dollar. I hear they've found an eye of yours in Osceola calling out to your mouth in Davis City. That mouth of yours is in the bar, the only place left in town, slow dancing and smoking. It's no wonder you look so pale. Ever wish you'd done more with your thirty years? Seeing you last week I wonder if you crave that sky filled with the milky way or the sight of Amish girls in blue at sunset against wheat-colored prairie grass. Here, the trees are full of gossip. They're waiting to see what you'll do next. Email This Poem to a Friend previous poem Previous Poem | Next Poem next poem View Deborah Ager: Poems | Biography | Books
