Ronald Osumba is a Kenyan who vied for Deputy President in the March 2013 Kenyan Presidential election on a Kenya National Congress ticket. He was the running mate to Peter Kenneth.

He was part of the panelists in the Change Associates public debate on "Is Kenya now on trial at the International Criminal Court" held in Nairobi.

In this one on one interview, He says Kenya withdrawing from the ICC is not a option. He calls for a reformed international criminal justice system in Kenya. Further, he notes that, the question ought to have been, "Whether we have faith and confidence in our local justice mechanisms."

By having two cases at before the ICC does not mean we should let go off the perpetrators of the 2007/08 Post Election Violence.
He notes that Kenya has failed to set up a local mechanism and it was a lost opportunity when it had it. However, he says it is not too late. He says there is need for continued engagement with the Chief Justice, and the Director of Public Prosecutions to ensure such a mechanism is in place.
