Track 32 of the Suicidal Man Call where Civilian Dispatcher Diane Potemski calls the Newington Police Department to speak with Officer John Aselton regarding the suicidal man. Potemski asks Aselton if there is any in house information on the suicidal man in an attempt to find out if there is any history with the individual. While speaking with Officer John Aselton, Dispatcher Potemski informs Officer Aselton that the Windsor Locks Police Department had several reports and it sounded like the suicidal man was in for a shoot out when he arrives here at the Windsor Locks Police Department as she laughs. Aselton asked Potemski where she got that information from and Potemski seems dumb founded and at first is unable to answer but finally states I don't know the sergeant took it I think Troop W, and Hamilton Sunstrand. Aselton who had informed Potemski that Windsor Police were out with the man told her that maybe you might want to let Windsor know that. Potemski immediately calls Windsor Police Department and speaks to a calm Windsor Police Dispatcher who informs her that they are sending an ambulance into transport the suicidal man indicating that possibly the Windsor Police Officer determined that the man needed an emergency evaluation by a medical doctor. Potemski tells Windsor Police Department to becareful because we had heard that this man intended to commit suicide by cop! Where she heard that who knows.
