Do U Lie? is the ninth track on Prince's eighth album Parade, the third to be credited to Prince and the Revolution. The song is also played in Prince's second movie Under The Cherry Moon.
Initial tracking took place on 14 July, 1985 at the Crosstown Circle Warehouse, Eden Prairie, MN, USA (four days after Neon Telephone), two and a half months after the first configuration of the Parade album was compiled. Clare Fischer arranged and recorded orchestration for the song at some point in mid-late 1985 at Monterey Sound Studios, Glendale, CA, USA. Recording Personnel
