DJ INDI is a female DJ from Northeast DC. Her love for music came from her Grandmother; she played everything from The Stylistics to R. Kelly. Overtime, she developed a love for music. Listening while running, on the bus, and biking. Late 2013, she began to talk about DJ’ing with friends and family some thought it was a good idea others didn't. She stuck with her decision and started teaching herself to DJ. A few gigs came her way (Baby Shower, Cookouts). By spring of 2014, she started DJ’ing in a Nightclub (Midtown) located in Washington, DC. Subsequently, calls and emails began to come left and right. Articulately stated: “Nothing was given to me, everything I have I earned it."
