The lady…. Hitting the piano… walking up and down, how many of us do not know this kind of reaction to certain situations and nothing ever felt better than rushing to the keys and leaving the hands take out the soul’s torments.
This song is a masterpiece, a vocal challenge and a beauty in itself.
I have had a long, beautiful courtship with this song. I love it, the way I love all my covers, first because I do not keep a piano in my no palace home so there is nothing to “hit” except for my vocal cords which sometime get untuned; second, because I never thought I could touch half of LataJi’s beautiful expressions. Still I don’t think I managed, but my throat’s clock too is ticking and what if tomorrow never comes, what if my voice gives up on me, what if and if and if.
I always feel when uploading a song I give away a little of myself, to the big world and, as usually, if one out of as few listeners as I have feel listening the same way I feel singing, my purpose is touched.
Satheesh Kumar Nair is the master of mixing this one, - thanks man for being there and for taking the pain of working with my no studio quality recordings. You and Naqvi Sir are the only two I dare overwhelming with vocals. 
