Ovums 20th birthday celebrations continues with the arrival of Itamar Sagi, an artist who second outstanding on Ovum rearwards
in 2009 with the expansive Fiona/Agnes Blue. After a five year hiatus from the label, he triumphantly reappearances with the Invisible Key EP. Raised in the hot smear of Tel Aviv, with his artist roots artful in the techno partizan, Itamar is from the new unspecific of the topical techno expressed. Already providential self-aggrandising, Sagis reputation continues to grow with his unusual floor filling productions consistently catching the work of legends including Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Carl Craig, Francois K and others. The Invisible Key EP kicks off with the title track which is Greco-Roman Sagi. The running slowly draws you in with its twists and turns, bouncy and rising and making a tension on the floor. New Order harks in reply
wards to the full-scale of Basic Channel, G-Man, and John Ciaffone. Sagi o'er
builds the tension with loud samples and effects that deliver a heavy biff without having e'er
organism ended through. For the last cut Dub Superstitions, Sagi delivers a right techno sweat. The running percolates and builds and again Sagis ramps the vibes to deliver a soggy chichi to this leading accomplishment.
