Season 7, Episode 5 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers preseason loss Thursday night at Heinz Field to the Philadelphia Eagles.
After first talking about the injury suffered by Steelers center Cody Wallace in the game, David and I go over the four interceptions that quarterback Landry Jones threw in the first half. If you are a Jones’ witch hunter, you won’t enjoy this portion of the show.
David and I talk about how several of the Steelers young wide receivers played Thursday night and also make sure to let you know who we thought stood out both good and bad as far as the rest of the offense goes.
We move over to talking about the play of the Steelers starting defense Thursday night in addition to talking about the roster future of rookie linebacker Tyler Matakevitch. We go over several other defensive talking points as well.
We close this show out by talking about the decision Steelers linebacker James Harrison made on Thursday to talk to the league as part of their ongoing PEDS investigation.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
Thanks for listening and don't forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends!
