Lake Huron is one of the biggest of the Great Lakes, and is found partially in the USA and partially in Ontario, Canada. It's one of the biggest freshwater lakes on the planet and is named after the first inhabitants, the Huron Indians, by early French explorers. It has 30,000 isles and has the longest coastline of any of the great lakes of over 3,800 miles. Superb roadways, airports and connections are across the area, so access is very easy from all important points.
