You can use YourListen.com without registering for an account. Without registering for an account though you are limited to only using some of the features we offer on our platform. Without an account you can listen and share the audio files hosted on our platform. If you want to upload, add audio to your own favorites or create your own playlist, comment on audio, download audio, or follow other users you need to sign up for a YourListen.com user account.
How do I upload my own audio files?
You need a YourListen.com user account in order to upload audio files. Once you have registered for an account you can upload audio files by clicking on the upload button and then following the easy steps as described on our upload page.
How many audio files can I upload to my account?
You can upload an unlimited amount of audio files to your account. We do not have any time limits or storage limits on your account.
How large of audio files can I upload?
On each individual upload you can upload audio files that are up to 350mb which is roughly 6 hours' worth of audio.
What types of audio file extension is needed to upload onto yourlisten.com?
can take uploads from 13 different audio extensions. These formats are-.mp3, wav, aiff, wma, aac, ac3, amr, caf, mmf, mp2, m4a, ogg, ra and mid
Do you only take music on your site?
No. We take every genre of audio ranging from Podcasts, Sound effects, Commercials, Interviews. DJ Mixes, Remixes, Audio Books, Audio Blogs, Live Performances, Voice Mails, Ring Tones, School Reviews and more.

You can do this by using our search bar. Our search bar enables you to search by title, description and tag. You can also search by user name. We also offer other various features that enable you to customize your search results.
How do I get more followers?
You can get more followers several ways:
Follow as many other users that you have interest in
Follow other users who upload and listen to similar audio that you upload and listen
Share your audio with other by messaging them your audio or sharing links to your audio with others.
Upload more audio. By having more audio uploaded to your account you only reach more users who might end up potentially following your future uploads.

How can I comment on an audio file?
Below each audio player you will see an area where you can comment. You can use our basic commenting system or if you are logged into your Facebook account you can comment using the Facebook comment feature.
What does the playlist feature do?
The playlist feature enables you to create your own personal customized list of audio files stored in your account. They will all be stored under your profile page where you can listen to all the files in an automated rotation without ever having to click play on each individual file.
What is my favorites area?
Your favorites area is a customizable list of audio files that you add to your profile and are stored in your account so each file can be easily accessed when needed.
How can I change my user information?
Very simply, just log into your account go to your profile section here you can change your password, user name, e-mail and other account information.
Can I make my audio private?
Yes. You have an option to make your audio upload private. We also provide you a feature that allows you to share your audio with whatever friends you want to invite to do so.
Can I make my profile page private?
Yes. You can make the entire page private or you can customize your profile to make only particular features of it private.
If I delete my account will my audio be automatically removed?
No. You need to delete each individual audio file in your account if you want them to be removed. Deleting your account will not remove your audio from being hosted on our platform.
If I register for an account and then connect my facebook account will that give me an entirely separate YorListen.com account?
Yes. If you register using our registration form that will create an account with the credentials you used for that registration. If you then register using your facebook account that will create an entirely separate account with different login credentials.
