Traumatic brain injury (also referred to as TBI) is frequently the effect of a sudden and violent blow towards the head. Mental performance collides together with the skull, which leads to bruising of the brain, tearing of nerve fibers, or bleeding of the brain. TBIs can even be caused from other external factors such as projectiles through the brain, bullets, or items of skull that penetrate the mind. Reasons for traumatic brain injuries can include falls, violence, and vehicle accidents.
