Luke came to me with this beautiful piano song he composed. He told me he poured his heart into it, and I heard this deep emotion the minute I listened to the song that I felt was very special. He asked me to write words for it, and together, we created this song, "Sempiternal".

Luke, thank you for asking me to sing for you on this song. It touched me, just like my friendship with you has touched me, and I appreciate having been given the opportunity to work with you on this breathtaking piano track.

Please enjoy, everyone.

Lyrics:
"This tormentor’s relentless fallback
Replacing all the empty spaces
But never filling in all the blanks
What’s going on? I don’t know these faces

Do the depths call to me for a cause?
Does my heart feel sad cuz it’s to blame?
Will my left hand and my right ever get along?
Or will it always be this way?

I've seen this, I've seen this all before
And I have been through these shades before
Over and over, again and again
Will I ever live to see the end
Of what looks to be a sempiternal remedy?

I hit rock-bottom, but I didn’t break
I’m still in enough pieces to breath
I can feel the shadows on cement
But I’m not cold, I’m used to this feeling

Oh you know, you know
It’s getting old, happened again
It’s been eternal, thus far, and oh
How I’ve dreamt of the day all of this will end

I've seen this, I've seen this all before
And I have been through these shades before
Over and over, again and again
Will I ever live to see the end
Of what looks to be a sempiternal remedy?"

Note: I know I've been posting a lot of music lately. I've been considering taking a step back for a while and starting the makings of a second album, which may be released after Rockets and Radios (which, don't worry, WILL be released soon.) I'm not sure yet, but we'll see. I can't ever predict myself.
