Music from the Southern hemisphere on this week's show featuring Holy Holy (Aus), Dan Patlansky (SA), and Unknown Mortal Orchestra (NZ).
We had a bit of an update on some of the band's we'd featured previously with news on The Sheepdogs, sharing tweets with The Last Internationale, Buddy guy, and why you should 'follow' David Crosby.
Holy Holy, a band who in a previous life were ESL teachers in SE Asia, give us a couple of great tracks from their debut album 'When The Storms Would Come'. Next up, Dan Patlansky, a South African blues/rock guitarist. As well as a funky cover of 'Call Me The Breeze' we talk about his forthcoming tour with Joe Satriani and why it's not easy getting your music heard in the African continent. Closing the show is 'So Good At Being In Trouble' from Unknown Mortal Orchestra's excellent II album.
Enjoy the show.
