dekho mera dil machal gaya-kala vijayDear friends, this is a long pending song in my list.recorded it a couple of months back too.as you all know i have a special liking for Lataji songs.though i wanted to sing others song too.but ultimately it will come back to Lataji.ha.ha.ha...friends like Chandranji,Gopi(Karu)- all ask me to cover different singer's songs.i want to admit i was not much familiar with Sharada Rajan Iyengar in my childhood though she is a fantastic singer and sung some wonderful songs, which were chart busters too.but when i started my online music activities,i came to know about this great singer and loved her unique voice too.the interesting part is ,she is on my friends list on facebook now.so pl listen my attempt on this beautiful number from suraj.all songs of this film were super duper popular.your feed back is very very important to me.pl listen at your leisure.thank you so much.
Gham Ki Andheri Raat Mein - a Rafi/Talat songI wasn't sure if I would feel like singing again after my sister's demise but listening to last weeks upload by Anand Ji made such an impact on me with mixed feelings of hopelessness and hope all at the same time. Despite not wanting to and some times unknowingly I realized I am humming this beautiful melody melody as prayer and facing the reality of life and death. Something that happens to every body when a near one dies. There are many such songs where consolatory words are used to uplift the mood of a depressed soul and this song is one among them that has just the right sentiments and melody. Talat singing the sad part and Rafi trying to cheer up. I had to split myself into two and cheer my own spirit by recording this song. Thank you Anand Ji for reminding this song which I thought was very tough in the first place and secondly I had never ever thought that I would or could sing this song. Just sharing my feelings with friends here with this song cover.
