Roberto Sass originally comes from Sweden and resides in Singapore since 2002. He was formerly nicknamed DJ Rubberman but chose to scrap this to get a sense of becoming more personalised. With a great interest in electronic music by artists such as Depeche Mode, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Enigma he was inspired to start making his own music during the early 90s. As time went by he went through an awakening in the interest of many other genres which has brought him to become the multi-genre composer he is today. He stubbornly refuses to be put in a pigeonhole and works in the genres and fusions in-between modern classical, neo classical, electronic and instrumental soundtracks, soundscapes, ethno-inspired music often with a balance of electronic and organic instrumentation ranging from ambient, chill-out, chill-step, drum-step, light dub-step, EDM, jazz, nu-jazz, blues, latino, rock, celtic and retro electronica. His music is mainly based on melodic compositions and he is drawn to express a range of various sentiments in form of emotional content being it a silent soaring sadness to euphoric joy and believes there is a place for all music at the right time and for the right purpose. He considers this way of adaptation to be his strong card of flexibility and this in turn has brought him to compose songs for many other artists over the past years. Roberto has accumulated more than 300 songs and intends to start releasing the best of these in the upcoming thematic albums HiberNation, The Silk Road Chronicles, Symbiosis and Quantum Theorem along with potential singles of interest in between. With a passion for film music, one of his targets is to look out for opportunities within this area. He always welcomes invites for collaborations and he is hoping to find vocalists to work with that have the same serious and stubborn mindset of working hard to achieve new heights of accomplishments within music as he himself has.
Twilight One of my latest downtempo edm's. I have been making quite a few tracks on the theme of stepping into the shadowland touching aspects of the harsher side of the world where people struggle against both themselves and the society.Sass 00:06:08 65 0 Downloads 0 Comments
Long Gone I made this track over a year ago but I've been in an unstoppable production frenzy for the past few years just to engaged in my love for making new tunes that most of them have become dust collectors. Anyways I thought I try to upload it here to see if anyone catches it :)Sass 00:04:16 71 0 Downloads 0 Comments
