Guitar - "Under A Mango Tree" (Part II - Variation I) A variation of the melody, Under a Mango tree. I brought some muting and different strumming to the riff while still keeping that nice sounding contrast sound. It doesn't have the sweet calming sound as the original which may sway me from using this riff but I still thought it deserves some recognition. It's possible it will show up in a song.
Guitar - "Under A Mango Tree" (Part II)A developed melody from the original jam session of chords and notes. This recording is a developed riff that could possibly be a chorus of a song. While in chord formation, I pluck and play only two strings at a time so that the contrast of the lower and higher notes bounce and compliment each other.
Guitar - "Under A Mango Tree"A series of notes played individually while held in a chord formation. When played all in sequence it makes a beautiful sounding chord. This is a new tactic that I have approached and I like how it sounds.
Guitar - "The Good Times"A joyful happy riff that is upbeat and moving. This riff incorporates mutes and different notes played with some unique strumming. The muting adds so much to this riff and really brings it alive.
Guitar - "Missing ya"A slopey and mellow tune. I wrote this when I was feeling lonely and felt like playing the guitar. I feel this could be a good slow song. Since I plan to have at least one slow song on my E.P. I think I will expand on this riff.
Guitar - "Rock the Funk"This riff was written during my last Jam session with my T.A. We both agreed this could make a catchy rock song with an upbeat tempo. It makes me want to move and with some more revision, I think it has the potential to become something memorable.
