All of us have hangups, and proclivities. All of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. All of us have default ways of thinking, behaving, acting, and reacting, because we have been born into sin and shapen in iniquity.
It becomes very easy for us to link these behaviors, hangups, worldviews, philosophies, and mindsets with our self identification, and make them our "orientation".
But the question should not be "what" is our orientation, but rather Who?
Is Christ the the one who determines how we live, move, and have our being? Do we love Him with all of our mind, soul, and strength? Do we acknowledge Him in all that we say and do, and before we do it? Is He the one that directs our path?
Or is our direction determined by our emotions, our sexuality, our desires, our worldview, the way we were raised?
Listen as we explored why our orientation should not be a "what", but a Who.
