Our church has always been involved in Bible teaching and practical application. Our pastors practice expository preaching, usually going through entire books of the Bible in a sermon series. This method makes it easier to learn the Word of God in context, and in relation to the overall message of the Scriptures.

Sunday Worship Service begins at 10am

  • It's Never Hopeless If You Bring the Problem to Jesus
It's Never Hopeless If You Bring the Problem to Jesus You are never just another face in the crowd to the God who knows everything and cares about everyone. In the midst of others celebrating the joys of life, He sees you at your point of desperation. Do you have enough faith in Him to travel any distance, to press through any obstacles, and receive what you desperately need? In Mark 5:21-43, we see the story of Jesus raising Jairus' daughter from the dead and healing a sick woman as we learn that although our situations may look hopeless, they never are when brought to the feet of Jesus Christ. 06/25/2017

  • Moving Beyond "Demonic Faith" to Devotion and Trust
Moving Beyond "Demonic Faith" to Devotion and Trust Many people say they believe in God, and assume that is enough to save themselves or satisfy God. However, James makes it clear (James 2:19) that demons know there is a God, and they tremble in fear, yet they will exist eternally in rebellion against Him. Do you believe without submitting to Him in worship and trust? In Mark 4:35-5:20, we see Jesus calming the storm and healing the man with a demon to demonstrate that He has power over all creation, including demonic forces. 06/11/2017

  • Inhale & Exhale
Inhale & Exhale Through 2 Timothy 3:12-17, we discuss the power of God's Word and its importance in the everyday Christian life. In this passage of scripture, Paul was encouraging Timothy to be faithful in hard times. He was sharing with Timothy that many troubles in the last days would come. In addition, many people will turn from God's way of living. Paul was warning Timothy that persecution would come to those who follow Jesus Christ. Mistreatment comes with the call of salvation. He strongly Timothy to understand that the scriptures is the only source of truth worthy to trust in. 5/21/2017

  • Quiet Women Who Spoke Loudly We often hear the phrase, “actions speak louder than words.” Ideally, our words and actions should be in perfect harmony, just as our Lord demonstrated His love, and verbally communicates His love for all of us. Our passage today is another example of how important it is to communicate love with actions and words that touch the heart. In our message through Luke 7:11-8:3, we see more of Jesus Christ’s demonstration of love and grace to those around Him.

  • How Can Six Illegal Trials Lead to Justice Being Served?
How Can Six Illegal Trials Lead to Justice Being Served? Of the 89 chapters that contain the four Gospel accounts, 29 of them cover the week of the Passover and crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. 13 of those chapters focus on the day of the crucifixion. Six hastily assembled illegal trials, occupying a few hours of one night, featuring the greatest miscarriage of justice the world has ever known, was used by God to display His justice. How did that happen? The betrayal by Judas led to the arrest of Christ. His embrace of Jesus was hypocritical and self-serving. Jesus knew that Judas was not a real friend. (Matthew 26:46-50) The money Judas received was returned after his guilty conscience got the best of him. The payoffs for sin are never enjoyed for long, and the wages of sin will always be death. He regretted his actions but he did not repent. The priests did not want the guilt money either, so they used it in a charitable way to buy a burial field for the poor. 04/14/2017
