In 1957 Ed Gein tore the town of Plainfield, Wisconsin apart when his crimes of gore and cruelty where discovered. His murderous acts were the basis for characters like Norman Bates (Psycho) , Buffalo Bill (Silencee of the Lambs) and Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Although he was only found guilty of two murders, the entire town can be added to his victim list. Oddly, he was buried in the same graveyard as his victims and the same graveyard he raided for his gruesome human projects. Told during "Graveyard Tales" at Rocky Mount Historical Site in Johnson City, TN. This is a live recording and not suitable for children.
