This writeup is from the guides for belt levels written by Ben Gawiser of Loudoun Kempo, used by permission.

#3 Pinion –
1) Bow and step out with the right leg.
2) Roll the fists downward in the circular motion.
3) Pull the arms back into elbow position.
4) Push the arms out in thrust punches.
5) Pivot 90o to the left and pull the left leg into a cat stance while doing a #2 block.
6) Step forward pulling the right leg into the left and perform a dropping front two knuckle punch with the right hand.
7) Simultaneous #1 and #8 blocks.
8) Simultaneous #2 and #7 blocks.
9) Turn 180o to the right and pull the right leg into a cat stance while doing a #1 block.
10) Step forward pulling the left leg into the right and perform a dropping front two knuckle punch with the left hand.
11) Simultaneous #2 and #7 blocks.
12) Simultaneous #1 and #8 blocks.
13) Perform a right cup and saucer.
14) Pivot 90o to the left and step out with the left leg into a half moon stance while performing a #2 block.
15) Front two knuckle punch with the right hand.
16) Half moon forward.
17) Pivot 45o to the left into a horse stance while performing a spear hand to the groin with the right hand while bridging the strike with the left arm.
18) Pivot 225o to the left into a horse stance while striking with a spinning back fist with the left hand to the attacker’s head.
19) Pivot 90o to the right and step forward with the right leg into a half moon stance while striking with a left thrust punch to the groin.
20) Pivot 180o to the left and then bring the right leg into the left and the hands into crane blocking position.
21) Right front ball kick to the mid section and step down in a half moon stance.
22) Pivot to the left and crane block with the right arm.
23) Pull the right leg into the left and the step back out into a wide half moon stance while striking with a right back two knuckle to the face and a left palm heel to the groin.
24) Pull the left leg into the right and put the hands into crane blocking position.
25) Left front ball kick to the mid section and step down in a half moon stance.
22) Pivot to the right and crane block with the left arm.
23) Pull the left leg into the right and the step back out into a wide half moon stance while striking with a left back two knuckle to the face and a right palm heel to the groin.
24) Pull the right leg into the left and put the hands into crane blocking position.
25) Right front ball kick to the mid section and step down in a half moon stance.
26) Pivot to the left and crane block with the right arm.
27) Pull the right leg into the left and the step back out into a wide half moon stance while striking with a right back two knuckle to the face and a left palm heel to the groin.
28) Half moon forward, left front two knuckle punch.
29) Bring the right leg up into a horse stance.
30) Round house elbow strike with the right arm.
31) Pivot off of the right leg 180o to the right while performing a left roundhouse elbow strike.
32) Twist step (left leg in front of the right) while performing a right roundhouse elbow strike.
33) Jump out with the right leg into a horse stance while performing a left roundhouse elbow strike.
34) Front two knuckle to the stomach with the right hand.
35) Front two knuckle to the stomach with the left hand.
36) Simultaneous #1 and #2 blocks.
37) Simultaneous thrust punches to the face with both hands.
38) Ending exactly the same as the salutation.
